Integrate MailChimp Into Your Online School
MailChimp is a powerful tool for email marketing. The best part is that for most part, functionalities and usage, it is a free service. As an email marketing campaign tool, this then becomes a very powerful tool to send out emails to your students and prospective users from your email lists.
To enable Mailchimp integration, you need an API Key which allows the integration to happen smoothly. To do this, simply login to your knorish account. Under Publisher Dashboard, at the bottom of the page, you would see the option for MailChimp Integration.
MailChimp API Key Generation
To initiate the process, sign up on MailChimp. To sign up, simply visit MailChimp Sign Up and enter the requisite details. Once you have created an account, you would need to activate your account by clicking on the link sent to your email ID by MailChimp. Shown below is a screenshot of the same.
Once done, create your account profile, fill in the details required for sign up to begin the process. Once signed in, click on your profile and on the drop down, select Account.
On the account page, simply scroll down and under the Tab Extras, Select API Keys. MailChimp would automatically produce an API Key.
Under 'Your API Keys' you would see an API Key already generated. The same can be used for integration in Knorish or should you wish you can always generate a new one.
Simply copy the code and paste it in the section as shown below.
Once the integration has been completed, you would see a green icon at the bottom which means the integration has been successful besides the pop up message notifying the completion.
